MICHAEL MARQUAND is a freelance photographer from Seattle, Washington, living and working in Brooklyn, New York. His photographs are defined by graphic compositions, natural daylight and a strong use of color, with a body of work that includes a strong focus on travel, people, interiors, culture and food. His work has been published in Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetite, Lonely Planet, El Pais magazine, Wine Spectator, Sweet Paul, Vanity Fair and l'officiel voyage, among others.
SARAH CAHLAN is a writer and documentary filmmaker, Las Vegas native and Brooklyn transplant. Her work has taken her from Israel to film a National Geographic Explorer to the mountains and cities of Bhutan to collect content for the social enterprise, MyBhutan. She has written stories and shot mini-docs in over 17 countries and her work has been featured in HBO documentaries, the New York Times Minute, local newspapers, and travel blogs such as the Culture Trip. Through her travels, she has developed a deep passion for the interconnectedness of all cultures.
