MICHAEL MARQUAND is a freelance photographer from Seattle, Washington, living and working in Brooklyn, New York. His photographs are defined by graphic compositions, natural daylight and a strong use of color, with a body of work that includes a strong focus on travel, people, interiors, culture and food. His work has been published in Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetite, Lonely Planet, El Pais magazine, Wine Spectator, Sweet Paul, Vanity Fair and l'officiel voyage, among others. 

SARAH CAHLAN is a writer and documentary filmmaker originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her work has taken her to Israel to film a National Geographic Explorer, New York to produce historical documentaries and Bhutan to write pieces for the newspaper and social enterprise, MyBhutan. She has collected content in over 17 countries where she has worked on HBO documentaries, footage for the New York Times Minute and pieces for travel blogs such as the Culture Trip. Through her travels, she has developed a deep passion for the interconnectedness of all cultures - even the most remote.
